The 2026 edition of Lollapalooza opens its doors on July 30 in Grant Park, Chicago, where thousands of attendees will enjoy four days of one of the most important music festivals on the international calendar. Those unable to attend will be able to follow much of the program through live streams available on Hulu and Disney+, whose channels will offer coverage of the main stages from the afternoon until the event’s closing.
The festival maintains a lineup that brings together artists from different genres, a formula that has contributed to its longevity for more than three decades as one of the most popular music events.
Lollapalooza 2026 brings together big names in music
This year’s lineup includes names like Charli XCX, Turnstile, and Zara Larsson, as well as groups and solo artists such as The xx, The Smashing Pumpkins, Tate McRae, Ethel Cain, Clipse, Blood Orange, Olivia Dean, and Geese.
The artistic diversity reflects the change the festival has undergone since its early years, when the program revolved almost entirely around rock. Over time, it has broadened its offerings to become a space that integrates different musical styles and generations of audiences.

Chicago expects another high-attendance edition
Organizers anticipate full occupancy for all four days of the event, with an attendance of approximately 115,000 people per day. Grant Park, the festival’s permanent venue, has also implemented improvements to facilitate access and visitor flow.

In addition to its cultural impact, Lollapalooza is one of Chicago’s biggest summer tourist attractions and remains committed to promoting artists with ties to the state of Illinois, a tradition that has been part of the event’s identity for years.
