U.S. President Donald Trump again denied having a close relationship with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, following the release of millions of declassified files by the Department of Justice (DOJ) related to the case.

On his social media platform Truth Social, Trump claimed he never visited Epstein’s island and accused journalist Michael Wolff of conspiring with Epstein to harm him politically.

“Not only was I not friends with Jeffrey Epstein, but according to information released by the Department of Justice, Epstein and a lying, unscrupulous author named Michael Wolff conspired to harm me and my presidency”, the Republican president wrote.

Trump also asserted that, unlike other political figures, he had never been to Epstein’s private island, which he described as “infested”, and announced that he would take legal action against members of the “radical left”.

Photographs and previous ties between Trump and Epstein

Despite the former president’s statements, various media outlets have documented that Trump and Epstein maintained a social relationship for more than a decade, with numerous photographs of the two at public events. Trump himself has acknowledged that he cut ties with Epstein in the early 2000s.

The controversy resurfaced after the release of more than three million files related to the Epstein case, recently made public by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Bill and Hillary Clinton will testify in a congressional investigation

At the same time, NBC News reported that former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, agreed to testify before a House of Representatives investigation related to the Epstein case.

The released documents indicate that Epstein trafficked girls to third parties, despite previous official denials, and include testimonies and materials collected by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

FBI files include extreme and unverified allegations

Among the files, identified by the code EFTA00147661, it is mentioned that the FBI interviewed an alleged victim who accused former President George H.W. Bush of rape, as well as testimonies describing acts of extreme violence allegedly committed on properties linked to Epstein.

The Department of Justice clarified that some of the material may be false, fraudulent, or unverified, as the release is in response to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which requires the publication of all content received by the FBI.

After the release of these files, a 2009 video of Mexican model Gabriela Rico Jiménez resurfaced on social media; in it, she publicly accused alleged elites of practicing cannibalism in front of a luxury hotel in Monterrey. The material was picked up by Russia Today.

Epstein called himself a “top-tier sexual predator”

Finally, the documents include an interview in which Jeffrey Epstein described himself as a “top-tier sexual predator,” conducted by Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist, and published by The New York Post.

The Department of Justice reiterated that the content of the files should be analyzed with caution, as not everything constitutes confirmed evidence, although their publication marks a new chapter in one of the most serious and controversial scandals in American politics.
