Fortnite fans can enjoy a unique experience this year during Halloween Horror Nights, after Universal Studios confirmed the addition of the video game universe to its traditional seasonal event. The attraction will be available at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort and will transport visitors to a themed zone inspired by Fortnitemares.
This will be the first time the popular Epic Games title has been part of this spectacle, which each year brings together film, television, and video game franchises to offer terrifying experiences.
Fortnite will star in a new Halloween Horror Nights zone
The attraction will be called Freaky Fields, a setting that recreates a battlefield overrun by creatures and characters inspired by Fortnite’s Halloween mode.
Those who explore this area will find the iconic Battle Bus, as well as familiar figures from the video game and exclusive characters created for Halloween Horror Nights. Unlike traditional haunted houses, this experience will allow visitors to explore an open space where actors will interact directly with the public.
The addition of Fortnite expands the event’s offerings, which have previously explored collaborations with other video game franchises.
Halloween Horror Nights adds new franchises this year
In addition to Fortnite, Universal confirmed other productions that will be part of the program at both locations. These include Stranger Things, Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn, and Sinners, which will feature experiences inspired by their respective stories.

Each park will also offer exclusive attractions, so some of the programming will vary between Orlando and Hollywood.
As for ticket prices, Universal Orlando Resort offers single-night tickets starting at $88.99, while Universal Studios Hollywood has rates starting at $77 per person, although the final cost depends on the chosen date.
With this collaboration, Fortnite expands its presence beyond the screen and joins one of the most traditional Halloween events at US theme parks for the first time.
