Concanaco Servytur holds strategic business meetings at FITUR 2026

The Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Mexico (Concanaco Servytur), led by Octavio de la Torre, held a strategic meeting with the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) and the Association of Mexican Entrepreneurs in Spain (AEMEES) during the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2026 in Madrid.

The meeting aimed to strengthen business ties between Mexico and Spain and to explore new avenues for bilateral cooperation in the commercial and tourism sectors. The participating organizations agreed on the importance of promoting collaborative frameworks that expand economic exchange and deliver tangible benefits for companies in both countries.

Discussions focused on building long-term alliances designed to generate effective synergies between Mexican and Spanish businesses. The dialogue also served to identify areas of opportunity and to lay the groundwork for joint projects in strategic sectors related to trade, services, and tourism.

Seven presidents of Chambers of Commerce affiliated with Concanaco Servytur took part in the meeting, representing more than 300,000 businesses across Mexico. In addition, more than 40 business owners attended, underscoring the organized private sector’s commitment to international engagement and the development of strategic partnerships in key markets.

CEOE expressed its interest in deepening cooperation with Mexican businesses. As one of Spain’s leading business organizations, CEOE directly integrates 225 territorial and sectoral associations nationwide, positioning it as a key interlocutor in international economic relations.

The meeting also advanced the development of a 2026 working agenda that includes joint initiatives in Latin America, particularly in Honduras and Uruguay. These efforts seek to broaden the scope of regional business cooperation and create new opportunities beyond the Mexico–Spain bilateral relationship.

Concanaco Servytur noted that the meeting is part of a broader strategy to promote dialogue, collaboration, and a shared vision for growth under the principle of “United in Positive Actions,” as well as to strengthen tourism promotion, attract investment, and expand Mexico’s business connectivity through high-level forums such as FITUR 2026.
