The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced that he will instruct the initiation of an official process for the identification and disclosure of government files related to extraterrestrial life, UFOs, and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).
The announcement was made thru his social network, Truth Social, where he stated that, in light of growing public interest, he will order Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and other federal agencies to begin reviewing and possibly publishing official documents.

- Classified documents related to these topics

Barack Obama’s statements about eextraterrestrial life
Trump’s announcement comes days after former President Barack Obama caused a stir on social media by stating in a podcast that aliens “are real.”
During a conversation with host Brian Tyler Cohen, Obama answered affirmatively when questioned about the existence of extraterrestrial life. However, he later clarified that he was speaking in statistical terms, noting that, given the size of the universe, it is likely that life exists elsewhere, although there is no evidence of contact with Earth.
Obama emphasized that during his presidency he had no evidence that extraterrestrial beings had visited the planet.
The Mystery of Area 51 and the Secret Files
The debate about extraterrestrial life in the United States is often linked to Area 51, a military facility in Nevada that has fueled conspiracy theories related to UFOs and alien technology for decades.
In 2013, the CIA officially acknowledged the existence of the site, although it denied that extraterrestrial ships or alien bodies had been recovered.
The possible disclosure of new documents could reignite global interest in the UFO phenomenon and the so-called UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena), a topic that has been the subject of hearings in the U.S. Congress in recent years.
