Johnny Depp once again surprised the audience with an unexpected appearance during a convention held on July 23, where he presented Ebenezer Scrooge for the first time, the character he will portray in the film Ebenezer. The actor appeared unannounced at the close of a panel dedicated to film directing, a moment that served as the backdrop for the first trailer of the production.
The presentation became one of the most talked-about moments of the event, as attendees were unaware that Depp would be part of the program.

For several minutes, he performed a monologue as the famous miser, throwing candy to the audience and leaving the stage accompanied by sound effects recreating chains and voices from the Christmas story.
